Barcelona start new season with 11 different scorers

FC Barcelona’s start to the 2025-26 season is proving that their offensive firepower no longer relies on a single striker. In just eight official matches (seven in La Liga and one in the Champions League), 11 different players have already found the back of the net, showcasing the versatility and depth of Hansi Flick’s squad.

Lewandowski and Ferran Lead the Way

At the top of the scoring chart are Robert Lewandowski and Ferran Torres. Lewandowski has struck four times, with a brace against Valencia, one against Oviedo, and the winner against Real Sociedad.

Ferran has also netted four goals, including a league opener against Mallorca, one in the comeback against Levante, and two against Getafe.

Raphinha, Rashford and Lamine Follow Closely

Raphinha has scored three goals, with strikes against Mallorca and a double versus Valencia.

Marcus Rashford, Barça’s new summer signing, marked his debut with two goals in the Champions League victory over Newcastle.

Lamine Yamal also has two goals, scoring against Mallorca and Rayo.

Other Contributors in Attack

Barça’s goals have also come from midfield and defence: Fermín López scored twice in the Valencia win. Araújo, Pedri, Dani Olmo, Koundé, and Eric García each contributed a goal.

Last season, Barça’s top scorers were Lewandowski (42 goals), Raphinha (34), and Ferran Torres (18). Of the 19 scorers in the 2024-25 campaign, 10 have already repeated this season. The big addition is Rashford, whose immediate impact has added a new dimension to Flick’s attack.
