Player Ratings: Missed chances cost City in Monaco stalemate
Player Ratings: Missed chances cost City in Monaco stalemate
Manchester City drew their second Champions League game 2-2 against Monaco despite being ahead twice in the game. Erling Haaland score twice for City but it wasn’t enough for all three points in their first away UCL game of the season. A world class strike from Teze and a controversial penalty won and converted by Eric Dier meant that Pep Guardiola’s side had to settle for just a point.

Tonight's <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag

Arsenal vs Man City Review - A sign of the times!
Arsenal vs Man City Review - A sign of the times!
As we braced ourselves for the next instalment of this now infamous rivalry, it was easy to get carried away with the hope of being treated to another thriller. Unfortunately, it didn’t really live up to expectations. Arsenal started with their typical approach of controlling the game with hundreds of passes back and forth that kept ending up back in their own box instead of in Man City’s. In fact, I’m sure David Raya touched the ball more than any of Arsenal’s front three in that first half.

Why Arteta’s ‘Pragmatism’ Against City Was the Right Call
Why Arteta’s ‘Pragmatism’ Against City Was the Right Call
Gabriel Martinelli’s stoppage-time lob saved Arsenal from defeat against Manchester City, but the bigger talking point wasn’t the Brazilian’s cool finish. It was Mikel Arteta’s team selection. Again. The Arsenal manager is facing the familiar accusations of being too cautious in big games. Jamie Carragher said he “wasted 45 minutes” by not starting Eberechi Eze. Roy Keane doubled down on his old line: Arteta is “not a risk taker.” But do these criticisms oversimplify what happened at the Emirat

Manchester City midfielder Rayan Cherki has returned from injury early after picking up a thigh problem which was expected to keep him out for around two months. The French international suffered the problem after City's defeat to Spurs on August 23rd and wasn't expected back until late October. But according to several reports Cherki seems set to be available for selection by the Brentford game next weekend at the latest, with Monaco next Wednesday being a possibility. BREAKING: Rayan Cher

Manchester City Player Ratings against Arsenal
Manchester City Player Ratings against Arsenal
Manchester City drew 1-1 away at Arsenal yesterday in a game which saw Pep play the most defensive we have seen since he arrived in Manchester in 2016. Despite that approach City did take the lead inside 10 minutes through none other than Erling Haaland, who now has six Premier League goals in five appearances this season. Throughout the game Guardiola made his side more and more defensive as they switched to a back five with half an hour to play, Haaland even came off with over 15 minutes lef

Arsenal, the season so far..
Arsenal, the season so far..
As we take time out from the Premier league for another week or so for the International break, we take this opportunity to have a look at how Arsenal's season has gone so far. Seven matches played in the league and five wins and a draw from those seven matches leaves the Gunners in a very favourable position at the top of the table on 16 points. Goal difference for the matches played reads extremely well for Mikel Arteta's team also and with 14 goals scored for and 3 against, this is a league b

Arsenal bid €50m + Gabriel Jesus for €90m rated Juventus wonderkid
After an outstanding summer transfer window, Arsenal sporting director Andrea Berta is already looking to raid Juventus for 20 year old wonder kid Kenan Yildiz, using Gabriel Jesus as a make-weight in the deal. This would make sense from Jesus' perspective, ahead of World Cup 2026 in North America, giving that he will be 29 by then, so realistically this could be his last World Cup. Kenan Yildiz is emerging as one of Europe’s most exciting young attacking talents. At just 20, the Juventus forw

How Andoni Iraola has turned things around at Bournemouth
With the international break, one team would have wished the league to still be in progress. Bournemouth have been the surprise package of the league as they sit within the top five of the table just seven games into the season. Things didn’t just turn around for the better for Bournemouth, as they have continued in the form they were in towards the end of last season, which resulted in some of their players being sought after by the big teams, with Dean Hjulsen making the biggest move to Real

COLE PALMER GOES “COLD” — AND CASHES IN!
Football meets fashion. Celebration meets commerce. And Cole Palmer? He’s at the centre of it all, as cool as ever. You know the one, ice in his veins, that shivering pose after a big goal? Yeah, that’s not just for the cameras anymore. Cole’s trademarking it. Literally. And here’s how it works—and why both Palmer and his fans stand to win big. The Ice-Cold Bluep

Chelsea may seem to have found their mojo back after defeating Jose Mourinho’s Benfica in the UEFA Champions League to record their second win from six matches. Still, Liverpool, on the other hand, seems to be losing its grip after consecutive losses to Crystal Palace and Galatasaray, respectively, with the latter coming in the UEFA Champions League match. Chelsea leave it late against Liverpool as its Estevao who clinches it for the blues. Chelsea Chaos. Chelsea being at home were quitely optimistic about getting something from this game. They started the game off perfectly with Maresca's tactics clearly working. With how the blues had set up it was certain they were trying to target the Liverpool fullbacks in Kerkez and Bradley. Both who have had a slow start to the season. It was Malo Gusto playing alongside Caicedo in that midfield pivot, Gu
